Install the SIMPLE CAM quickly, safely and cleanly
This page helps technicians install the panTerra SIMPLE CAM on site. The system is already fully preconfigured and only needs to be connected and mechanically aligned. All configuration is performed remotely by panTerra.
Preparation
Check before installation
Please verify all requirements on site before starting installation.
Check mounting location
Determine tripod, pole, wall or other mounting option on site.
Ensure power supply
Confirm that a suitable power supply is available at the installation location.

Steps 2 to 5
Installation Workflow
Follow these steps in order for proper installation.

Mount Camera System
Securely mount the camera system to a tripod, pole, wall or similar structure.
- Ensure stable and secure installation.
- Choose a position with a clear view of the construction site.
- Route cables safely and neatly.

Connect Power
Connect the system to the power supply.
Note: When the green LED on the bottom of the camera lights up, the camera is powered.

Roughly Align Camera
Use adjustment ring D to roughly align the camera towards the construction site.
Note: The position of the adjustment ring may vary depending on the camera model.

Set Final Camera Framing with panTerra
Contact panTerra to define the final image framing and tighten the adjustment ring afterwards.

Install Privacy Notice Signs
After installation place privacy notice signs at the construction site.
- Install privacy notice signs clearly visible on site.
- Document the installation with photos.
The panTerra SIMPLE CAM is now ready
After final alignment and fixing the system is ready for project documentation.
